Hey, I'll give you a short update on what's going on with my fics, namely Inexorable flow and Barracks.
First, let's start with Inexorable Flow. I've just recently posted chapter 23 of IF. I have no idea when I'll be posting chapter 24. Ask my beta. I doubt she will tell you, though, as she has no idea either. She's simply inhumanly busy. Now concerning the possibility me sending you the unbeta-read chapters - there isn't one. There was a possibility earlier, but now there isn't. I'm afraid, you'll just have to wait until I post them.

Now Barracks. Exactly the same situation. I have fifteen chapters of Barracks done (I believe I'll have some 30 of them by the end of the fic). I think I've finally found a beta for them. Now we are just tuning things up. Actually the further work past chapter 15 stopped because I was having a lot of  exams. Now...now I'm just playing Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. So yeah. I come back from work, do this and this what's needed to be done and then instead of writing, play computer games. Yes, I'm nearly thirty. Why?

SP777: Actually I don’t understand this: “I'm surprised YOU are sticking with this story, most
authors would have given up […]”. Why the heck should I give up? Give up why? I simply don’t understand what you’re implying here. I like this fic. Why the heck should I give up? Besides, it was finished about half a year ago, so HOW can I give it up? Now I’m just posting beta-read chapters.

Now Yuuri and Wolfram’s relationship. I must say that you’ve a quite correct feeling but maybe not for this fic. Not for the trilogy.

 

Priscel: As I have already said, my M-pregs I mentioned somewhere must be the ones in DBZ fandom. I don’t have any in KKM.

You said you adore Lakarde, so this chapter is for you. The entire length of it about Lakarde. No one else included.

Amae will come. A lot and many times. Ahem. He and Wolfram… I have no idea how they or why they like each other. Really, they hardly have anything in common. Quite a mystery ^_^

As for Yuuri having his own child…I think for that I’ll need to write the fourth story in the trilogy. Get it? A fourth fic in a trilogy. Actually, if seriously, I’m entertaining an idea of writing yet another continuation. But it was so convenient to call this a trilogy. Shall I disrupt it?

Well, the length of chapters usually is over 6000 words but fewer than 7000. I find it optimal. Now details. I do try, the thing is I often forget that the reader can’t look into my head.

Veronica: Aww, you just made me so happy :) I can't believe my fanfic idol misses chatting with me *grins* (Even though we don't get to talk much I still totally have a crush on you.) I miss our conversations, too. I'm sorry to hear you'll be moving again soon, sweetie. I remember how long you were M.I.A. from the Internet the last time you moved! Actually, I am moving, too, later this month. I have already made an appointment for the cable/Internet people to come out the very first day we move in, haha. Well, I hope everything goes smoothly and both of us don't have too much aggravation. But it never really works that way, does it??
Your new beta is good! The second chapter is very well-done. Aww, Toharu and Ario are right. Poor Goten *is* an idiot lol. But it's just so endearing. I can see why the Shaii is drawn to him ;-) I'll be looking forward to the next chapter, as always. Love ya and miss ya...

Well, you know the recent story with my betas. I even got you involved. *pangs of conscience* Moving is so much stress, all the packing and stuff. And there are still so many renovations awaiting me… Yes, I’ll also make a call for my internet to be hooked up after I move.

I hope you won’t have too much stress moving and will be quick to adapt.

Yup, the reason the shaii is drawn to Goten is Goten’s ignorance. Goten is simple, untarnished lad who desperately tries to keep out of trouble. The problem is, trouble loves him.

So. I've started posting Barracks. I started the story long, long ago. And I like it very much. So far, at least. It was a long time ago when I watched DBZ (i don't count that lame movie), but the idea of it is still somewhere at the back of my head.

So I did an AU again. With Vegeta-sei intact, the pairing being Trunks x Goten and vice-versa (you know I hate fixed seme/uke roles). It starts off with Goten victimized and getting his tail broken, but in the end it's him who does the major ass-kicking. For some reason it has already turned out into a multi-chaptered fic (started working on chapter 12 and I believe there will be at least other ten...over 6000 words each). It's just when I start creating a universe, I get involved. It's like a BIG-BANG. At first the idea is small and then it just grows, grows and grows until it reaches heck knows how many chapters. I also feel reluctant to abandon my universes and dive into something completely new (the old ones are so conveniently comfortable, after all). I suppose that's why it's not easy for me to be jumping from one fandom to another and during these long eyars of writing I belong to only two fandoms.

Anyway, what was I talking about here... Ah, yes the new fic but the old troubles. My beta (the new one) did a runner. Probably. Dunno. She doesn't answer. I suppose I'll have to look for another one. Ah, dear Veronica, it's so sad that you needed to concentrate on your job. And, Melisenda, love, I wish I could tag you as my beta for life - I am so amazed at what you do with my KKM fanficion! Well, let's hope a new person will be as efficient as you, girls. I'll let you go to the deserved peaceful rest ^_^

Just as the title indicates, IF is over. Today I finished writing the epilogue (hell, damn long and so much sex!). It seems incredible that I've spent three years on this trilogy. Scary. In fact, I am happy IF is finally over. I really wanted to already do something else.

Now I plan on concentrating on other fics. I also have been thinking aboutwriting another KKM fic (an independent one) but I rather not talk about it as it's only an idea on a relative level.

Well, so much info this time ^_^

Well, there's no overall faintness anymore, but now I have a sore throat and have been coughing like mad for a week or more. Fun, fun. Still, I feel much better than before. For some reason I find it hard to work on the epilogue. Is this because of the knowledge that one way or another IF is already over? Or, as I am not writing anything else at the moment, is this just the writing state I am in? (like...no-writing state, heh) Ah well.

On another note, I'd say that I liked how IF turned out. But even I haven't expected another epic. When starting a fic I always think about some ten chapters. So as not to overburden myself. In the end...well, in the end it is what it is - another epic of twenty-seven chapters.

Well, there's only epilogue left for IF to write. It IS taking me a while to finish IF. It's just that I have been inhumanly busy with my exams. Now my health is not at its best either (some sort of overall faintness, making me want nothing else just to sleep but even then I don't feel rested. I suppose I'll just drink some vitamins and stuff to restore my organism), so yeah... On the other hand, my beta also takes her time, so I don't feel much pressure. I am sure that some of you would like to see the newest chaps as soon as possible, but things are how they are. Well, at least you know that I'll finish (nearly finished) this fic.

Yesterday I finished Underlying Conspiracy, ten chapters of it. I am very happy about it because there were a few times when I thought I might never finish this fic.Today I'll post chapter 8.

Now for my KKM fans I will say that my beta is quite busy but I got promised that she'll become freer from the 15th of April and then she'll continue working on Inexorable Flow. Currently there are 25 chapters of it written. I'm wroking on two last ones, so as you see, there will be 27 of them, I think the same amount as it was in the previous story. Anyway, nothing much left to write and it will be over. I'm a little sad. I was wondering whether there was still left what i wanted to explote in KKM, but probably there isn't. For some reason I really don't want to watch the new (IIIrd) season, so I just won't ^_^

After being done with my current fics, I plan on continuing to work on Barracks (DBZ fandom). I have 4 chapters of it (two of them already beta-read). It's an AU and the action takes place in military training school. It's Goten x Trunks. I think I mentioned this somewhere already ^_^

Anyway, I wish all of you happy Easter ^_^

Well, I've finally passed all exams and credit tests I needed to pass. Now I'll have more time to work on my stories...or term paper...or to play games...or read mangas...

Anyway, currently, I am on chapter 21 of Inexorable Flow and on chapter 9 of Underlying Conspiracy. I plan UC to be 10 chapters. It's a humorous fic and there's no need to go overboard while trying to drag on. It has to be ended while it's still good. As all stories in general.

I'm not very sure but I have plans about writing Trunks x Goten one-shot. I have a few ideas. We'll see how it will turn out. But for now I want to just relax. These two past weeks were hellish.

Well, it seems my beta has simply decided to take a break. She did not want me to look for another beta-reader and sent the beta-read chapter to me today. We will see how it goes further.

Currently, I'm working on the end of chapter 20. I think there will be 26-27 chapters overall. There's just one thing I'm not very sure about. It seems I'm going to have a very, very long epilogue about Lakarde's further progress in Military Academy. It doesn't really belong to the main storyline, but I am reluctant to post it separately - usually i don't do things like that. So anyways, I suppose I'll just add it as an epilogue.

Chapter 19 is done and sent to the beta. The beta gives no answer. I wonder what  I should do about it. Wait? Look for a new one?

Inexorable Flow is moving along. It's just that my beta is busy with her work. Well, I think you'll have to wait a week or two. I hope not longer.
Currently I'm working on chapter 19, on the long awaited and final confrontation in there ^^
